Sunshine Video is owned by Scott and Melissa Thoroughgood who have backgrounds in film production and design respectively. Newly married, we know just how much work and effort goes into your wedding - the pitfalls, priorities, unexpected dramas and the emotions involved. Choosing the right person to film it and invite to be a part of your day is important. It’s a passion for both of us to be working and creating together, helping other couples along their journey and providing you with lasting cinematic memories of a once in a life time experience.

Your wedding is an individual and unique experience. We aim to provide not just another wedding video, but a personalised wedding film that will reflect this individuality and show the essence of your relationship. By using high quality film and editing equipment and bringing together a wealth of skills and experience, we craft films that are creative, artistic and fun with style and personality. We try to capture all the moments of your wedding day as they happen using an unobtrusive and discreet approach to get all the best candid shots, helping you stay relaxed and having fun!

Our philosophy is to constantly try new techniques and use technology to make sure your product is contemporary and stands out from the rest. Sunshine Video Productions incorporates both a film production and design studio and we utilise all these skills in the creation of your film. All our wedding films are shot in High Definition and we hold a license to use commercial music on wedding DVDs and include music of your choice on your film making it truly personal.

Sunshine Video is based in Wanaka and regularly film in Queenstown, Central Otago, Lake Tekapo and Mt Cook. We are happy to travel further afield if needed.
